1. Entries:
Please check website (www.geneseevalleyhunt.org) for updates and additional information. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. YEH Test: $80 entry fee is non-refundable. YEH Entry form and additional information can be found at www.useventing.com and in the Omnibus. 1st/2nd Year Event Horse Test: $80 entry fee is non-refundable. Entry form can be found on Area1 web site. Open to horses of ANY AGE who are in their 1st or 2nd year of competition @ USEA events. The test will be the same as the YEH tests. Horses in their 1st year will do the 4-year old test. Those in their 2nd year will do the 5-year old test. Horses that are eligible for both the YEH & the 1st/2nd Year Test will compete once but will be eligible to be placed in both classes for an additional $10 fee. Any horse over the age of five is ineligible for the championships at Lamplight. Double entries: Not accepted. Multiple entries may be limited Preliminary competitors must include copy of USEF membership for rider; owner and trainer with entry. Divisions may be further divided/combined or cancelled as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section, birth date and if amateur rider on entry form. Copy of current negative Coggins (dated 1/1/07 or later) must accompany entry, or entry considered incomplete. Incomplete entries will be placed on bottom of draw pile. Entry confirmation status will be posted on www.geneseevalleyhunt.org CHANGES: Each rider/horse/division change after July 7, 2009 is $50. Each rider/horse/division change after C.D. but before July 4, 2009 is $25. All changes must be in writing by fax or email (ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE CALLS). Please advise us of withdrawals ASAP. REFUNDS: Before C.D. – less $25 office fee. After C.D. – no refund. Competition Cancellation – No refund.
2. Tentative Schedule:
Fri: USEA YEH Test, 1st/2nd Yr Test-1 PM; Cross-country open-3 PM.
Sat: Dressage-7:30 AM., check posting on Area1 web site.
Sun: Show Jumping 7:30AM - Cross-country-8:00 AM; Competitors be prepared - All divisions will do show jumping before cross-country.

Prizes & 8 ribbons per division.

5. Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited on site Friday to Sunday only. $100 Friday noon to Sunday night. $50 Saturday night only (if available). 50 perm stalls on grounds – cross-country course approx. 1/2 mile from stabling. Mandatory muck deposit $40, separate check to GVH to accompany entry. Stall doors & initial bedding only provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase, further info from sec´y. Alternate stabling or for early arrivals prior to Friday, late departures after Sunday - Off-grounds only, contact Ashley Milhollen at (585) 993-1853. Veterinarian: Genesee Valley Equine Clinic (585) 889-1170. Stabling form must accompany entry.

7. Directions:
Address: Roots Tavern Rd and Nations Rd, Geneseo, NY 14454 From NY State Thruway: Exit 46 Rochester to I-390 south to Exit 8 to right (west) on 20A. Turn right at Main Street Rte. 39 at light. Go thru town, then about 3-4 miles Roots Tavern Rd. is second left (after leaving town) turn left to stabling & dressage. Cross-country is 1 mile west of Roots Tavern location; turn left on Nations Rd.
8. Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: 2 sand & 1 grass. Warm up grass.
9. Cross-Country:
P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2370 m @ 420 mpm. N-1950 m @ 350 mpm. BN-1600 m @ 350 mpm/max. height 2´7’. Terrain: Open, rolling, banks, water (all levels). Improved footing & jumps. All courses: Average for horses experienced at these levels. Course revised in 2006 with water complex.
10. Other Information:
Elimination Policy – absolutely no ride upon elimination. Cross-country course closed June 2, 2010. Great spectator opportunities. Be a patron, sponsor a division or fence; enjoy the patron tent.
